Stehr Lake

Stehr Lake Location: about 20 miles from Camp Verde on the road that goes to the Verde River power station. This lake will not be here in a few years water supply will be cut off. The water comes from a spring in Strawberry and is piped all the way there.

The lake is 5 acres and about 4 3/4 acres of this is blocked by weeds called punks. There is only 3 places to fish from shore most people that fish here use rubber boats or float tubes............ Average Depth: 10 feet. Elevation: 4500 feet |

Fish Species: Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Sunfish. Camping: Primitive you must bring in everything you need and please take your trash out with you. |
