Big Lake
 

 Location

Three miles west from Eager on State Highway 260 to State Highway 261 and turn left. Go 23 miles to stop sign at Crescent Lake. Follow signs 2.5 miles to Big Lake Recreation Area. Campgrounds are well marked.

 Campgrouns

Rainbow: This is the largest (152 sites ) a popular RV camp site.

Grayling: Has 23 sites no hook-ups are available, but there are tables, grills, toilets, drinking water and showers. A dump station is also available.

Brook Char: Closest to lake, has 13 sites but they are walk in only.

Cutthroat: The 18 sites here are tents only. Elevation is over 9,000 feet take some warm clothing and rain gear.

 Store

Yes there is a store if you haven't been there in years take a look. They have boat rentals, fishing tackle food supplies and a good hot cup of coffie.

Boating: 8 HP or less.

 Fish Species

Rainbow, Brook, and Cutthroat trout use worms, corn, power bait, flies, spinners, small crankbaits when trolling some people use cowbells along with baits above.
